Fungal Infections
Do you have sore, itchy skin on your feet or between your toes?
Or are your nails thickened, discoloured or hard to cut?
Athlete’s Foot and Fungal Nail infections are very common. They’re caused by a fungus that
affects the skin or nail, often leading to itching, irritation, and changes to how the nail looks
or feels.
At the clinic, you’ll always receive clear, honest advice on the best way to treat your
infection — helping you feel more comfortable and more confident about your feet again.
How can I tell if it is a fungal infection?
Fungal Nail Infection
Your nail may look thickened, discoloured, crumbly, or difficult to cut. This usually means the skin underneath the nail is infected. Left untreated, the nail can become damaged or even lift away.
Athlete’s Foot (Skin Infection)
Skin infections often cause itching, flaking, redness, or white moist skin between the toes. On the sole, the skin may appear dry, blistered or irritated. If left alone, the area can become
sore and prone to cracking.
Treating fungal infections early makes them much easier to clear.
If your nails are affected, you can also read about The Lacuna Method under the Services tab.
