WHAT ARE VERRUCAE?

These are commonly known as Warts on your feet that are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).  
Characterised by lumps with an irregular surface that can vary in size and shape and will usually have black dots. Pressure on a Verruca can cause you pain and if left untreated it can spread easily.
The virus will thrive in moist, warm conditions and is often caught in swimming pools or changing rooms. 
Treatment can be difficult because it is a viral infection and it may take a long period of time and persistence to get rid of it completely.  If left untreated it is likely that the condition will worsen.
